AgentCart

AgentCart puts your offers — bundles, upsells, and incentives — inside agentic checkout. When a shopper buys through an AI agent like ChatGPT or Perplexity, your Boost merchandising travels with the order, into a channel the old storefront-widget apps can’t reach.

What it is

Shoppers are starting to buy through AI agents. They ask ChatGPT or Perplexity for the right product, and the agent finds it, builds the cart, and completes checkout on their behalf — the purchase happens inside the chat, not on your storefront. AgentCart makes sure your offers are there when it does. The bundles, upsells, free gifts, and threshold incentives you already run in your Boost cart get applied to the agent’s checkout — so the order that comes back is merchandised, a built bundle or a fuller cart, instead of a bare single item. It’s the same Boost offer logic that powers your storefront cart, delivered the way an agent checkout can read it — through Shopify’s server-side discount and cart rails, not a storefront widget the agent never loads.

The problem it solves

Being where shopping is going is the whole point — and agentic checkout is a surface your current tools can’t follow you onto:
  • Agent checkout is offer-blind by default. The agent grabs the one SKU a shopper asked for and checks out. No bundle, no upsell, no gift-with-purchase — the AOV plays that drive your store never fire, and a single-item order is a fraction of what that shopper would have built on your site.
  • Your cart app is architecturally locked out. Storefront upsell widgets run as UI on your storefront. In an agent checkout your storefront never loads — the agent talks to your store server-to-server — so the widget never runs. It’s not a setting the incumbents can flip. Their offers live in a layer that doesn’t exist in this channel.
  • The shelf is being claimed right now. The brands wiring their offers into the agent channel early are the ones the agents learn to surface and bundle. Show up late and you’re a bare SKU inside someone else’s recommendation.

How it works

Agent checkouts run on Shopify’s server-side rails — the discount and cart logic that executes whether or not your storefront loads. Boost delivers your offers through those rails, so your merchandising reaches the agent channel the storefront-widget apps can’t. 1. Connect your offers. Map the bundles, volume deals, free gifts, and threshold rules you run in Boost to the agent channel. It’s your existing merchandising, delivered as automatic offers an agent checkout can apply. 2. The agent checks out through Shopify. When an AI agent opens a checkout for your store, Boost’s offers apply through Shopify’s server-side discount and cart rails — the same rails that run for any checkout, with no storefront UI required. 3. Your offers travel with the order. The agent’s cart reflects your bundle, volume break, or qualifying gift, and the order that lands in your system carries them as real line items. 4. Measure it on the Moneyboard. Agent-channel revenue shows up as its own stream, so you see exactly what the new channel is worth, right next to every other Boost surface.

What you get

  • Your AOV plays in the channel shopping is moving to. Bundles, upsells, and incentives inside agentic checkout — not just on your storefront. The same offers that lift your cart, now lifting your agent orders.
  • A channel the incumbents can’t enter. Storefront-widget apps are architecturally locked out of agent flows. Boost runs server-side, so it reaches where they can’t — a land-grab the incumbents can’t follow.
  • First-mover shelf space. Showing up early is the game. The brands present inside the agents now are the ones that own the position as the channel grows.
  • Built for supplements and food. Reorder-heavy, bundle-friendly categories are exactly what agents do best — “reorder my D3, add the K2.” AgentCart turns that single ask into your stack.
  • Proof on the Moneyboard. Real attributed dollars from the agent channel, measured like every other Boost surface — so you know what it’s worth, not just that it’s new.

Works with your stack

  • Do I have to rebuild anything? No. AgentCart uses the offers you already run in Boost. Works with your stack — no rip-and-replace, no separate setup for each agent.
  • Does it work with ChatGPT and Perplexity? Yes — it’s built for the agentic checkout channel (ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the agents coming next), riding the open agent-commerce rails Shopify already supports.
  • Will it break fulfillment? No. Offers land as real line items, so your 3PL and reporting see the true contents of every agent order — exactly like your storefront cart.
  • Is this another app and another bill? No. AgentCart is a Boost add-on — same platform, same offer engine, one bill.
  • How is it priced? The agent channel is new, so AgentCart is priced on usage — a share of the revenue it drives there — so you pay as the channel produces. See Boost Plans for pricing.
  • Why can’t my cart app just do this too? Because their offers live in storefront UI that never loads in an agent checkout. Boost’s offer logic runs on the server — the only place it can run in an agent flow.
