# Survey

# Survey

Ask your shoppers a question — right in the storefront, in the cart, or right after they buy — and capture the answer as zero-party data. It's the insight competitors pay agencies to estimate, native to Boost, and it feeds the rest of your store the moment a customer tells you.
# What it is

Survey lets you ask your shoppers a question where they already are — on the storefront, in the cart, or on the post-purchase page — and capture the answer as zero-party data: insight a customer volunteers about themselves, in their own words. You choose the question, where it appears, and the answer options.

Other survey tools collect those answers and hand you a report. Boost does something more useful with them: every response flows straight into the rest of your store — personalizing what shoppers see, feeding the Quiz, informing which Flows fire, and landing on the Moneyboard. The insight doesn't sit in a separate dashboard waiting for you to act on it. It acts.

Survey is a Boost add-on. See [Boost Plans](https://boost.shop/pricing) for pricing.

# The problem it solves

Knowing what your customers want — and where they came from — is something every brand needs. But the usual way to get it works against you:

* **It's a separate app, bolted onto your thank-you page.** Standard survey tools live in their own dashboard, off to the side of everything else you run, disconnected from your cart and your store.
* **It only asks after checkout.** The post-purchase page is the one moment a bolted-on survey can reach — so it misses every shopper who's still deciding, still in the cart, still browsing.
* **And the data just sits there.** The tool collects answers and gives you a report. Then it's on you to go act on it somewhere else. The insight rarely makes it back into the store, where it could actually change what a shopper sees next.
* **Meanwhile your pixel keeps guessing.** Since iOS privacy changes, platform attribution is a blur. The one source that isn't a guess is the customer telling you directly — if you ask them in context.
# How it works

**1. Write your question.** Pick what you want to know — how they heard about you, what they're shopping for, what matters most to them — and set the answer options. Start from a template or write your own.

**2. Choose where it asks.** Place it on the storefront, in the cart, or post-purchase, so you ask in context — at the moment the shopper is already thinking about it, not days later.

**3. Shoppers answer in a tap.** The question appears natively in the same storefront and cart they're already using — no pop-up that feels like an ad, no redirect to a third-party form. One tap and they're done.

**4. The answer goes to work.** Every response is captured as zero-party data tied to that shopper, and flows straight into Boost — personalizing what they see, feeding the [Quiz](/pages/quiz), informing which [Flows](/pages/flows) fire, and landing on the [Moneyboard](/pages/moneyboard).

Every answer is yours to keep, segment, and act on — and it's already doing work the moment it's collected.
# What you get

* **Insight straight from the source.** The thing competitors pay agencies to model, your customers just tell you — in their own words, at the moment they're paying attention.
* **Attribution your pixel can't give you.** Ask "how did you hear about us?" and learn which channels actually drive sales — the self-reported truth platform tracking has missed since iOS privacy changes.
* **A store that acts on what it learns.** Answers don't sit in a report. They feed personalization, the Quiz, and your Flows — so the next thing a shopper sees reflects what they just told you.
* **Higher response rates.** Asking in context — in-cart and on the storefront, not only a post-purchase popup — means more shoppers answer, so the data is richer and more representative.
* **Built for supplements and food.** Learn the goal behind the purchase — energy, sleep, gut health, a specific diet — and turn it into the right recommendation and the right regimen.
* **Proof on the Moneyboard.** See what your customers value most, connected in plain dollars to the revenue it drives.

# Works with your stack

* **Is this another app and another bill?** No. Survey is a Boost add-on — built into the platform, not a separate survey tool to install, wire up, and reconcile. See [Boost Plans](https://boost.shop/pricing) for pricing.
* **Where does it ask — only post-purchase?** No. Survey runs natively on the storefront, in the cart, and post-purchase, so you can ask wherever the question fits — not just the thank-you page.
* **Does it work with my email and analytics tools?** Yes. Your responses live in Boost, where they immediately power personalization, the Quiz, and the Moneyboard — and they're yours to use alongside the email and attribution tools you already run.
* **Will it annoy my shoppers?** No. It asks one question, in context, natively in your storefront — no intrusive pop-up, no redirect. You control what's asked, where, and how often.
